The Oxford Times Cherwell Cricket League consists of 38 clubs from 6 counties,  Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. There are 10 divisions with 101 teams competing and it is part of the pyramid system, with its Champions being eligible for promotion to Division 2 (West), of the Home Counties Premier Cricket League. Season 2009 will see the start of two new League Cup Competitions, the Senior Cup for first teams and the Junior Cup for second teams.
